Rovaniemeläislähtöinen laulaja Inga Söder on esiintynyt yli vuosikymmenen useiden eturivin popartistien kanssa. Ensimmäinen soololevy odotutti itseään kuitenkin viime syksyyn saakka, ja Stream Carries onkin vahvasti kallellaan jazzin suuntaan.
”Halusin odottaa, jotta olisin täysin varma mitä musiikillani haluan sanoa”, kertoo laulaja-säveltäjä itse. ”Albumi sai alkunsa ajatuksesta, että emme voi kontrolloida elämää. Meidän pitäisi vain luottaa, että elämä vie meidät oikeisiin paikkoihin. Haluan musiikillani välittää ihmisille lohtua, että elämä kantaa ja virta tulee kuljettamaan oikeisiin paikkoihin.”.
